DUOMO DI MILANO: HOW TO GET ON THE ROOFTOP

Hey babes!
In my last blogpost
you saw an outfit that was captured on the rooftop of Duomo. Now I’m going to
tell you how to get up there & why you must go there. I mean, the pictures
talk for theirselves huh? So, here are my tips:
· BUY A TICKET ONLINE
You can purchase it
from here. There are two lines right next to the Cathedral. One is for
buying the tickets (on the right side), where you usually have to wait for (minimum)
40 minutes! And the other one is for getting inside and up on the rooftop (on
the left side), where you probably have to wait for 30 minutes or less. So if
you don’t want to wait in two queues, grab a ticket online! It’s only 9 € to go up + 2 € if you’d like to
go inside as well. Also guided tours are available. Check it from here and send
them an e-mail to book a guide: visite@duomomilano.it.
· LEAVE YOU HAND LUGGAGE BEHIND
Some of you might
just have an overlay in Milan, when travelling to another country, so it’s
possible you are cruisin’ with your hand luggage around the city for a couple
of hours. I’m sorry to say this, but because of the security reasons they won’t
let you in with suitcases or big bags. It’s the same with the Eiffel Tower in
Paris + many more places around the world. Small purses and crossbodys/backpacks
are allowed. So what you should do - leave your luggage in a nearby hotel for a
couple of hours. It might cost a bit, so be prepared.
· GO THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY
The best time to go
up is around 12-3 pm, because then it’s less crowded and the morning fog (which
is here too often) has already faded. The Cathedral is open from 8am – 7pm. The
rooftop is open from 9am – 7pm. However, the last tickets are sold 60 minutes
before the closing.
· GO THERE WHEN IT’S SUNNY
I promise you it’s
worth it. The views are spectacular!
That’s it for now.
If you have any questions feel free to write me in private or e-mail mariiheleenblog@gmail.com or leave a comment
down below. And thank you for the positive vibes you are sending back to me
with every post. Means the world to me!!! Spread love,
//// Tere hommikust
kallid! Eelmises postituses näitasin teile enda outfitti, mis sai pildistatud
Duomo di Milano katusel. Täna räägin teile, kuidas sinna üles pääseda ja jagan
ka nippe:
· OSTA PILET INTERNETIST
Kui sa ei soovi
oodata kahes järjekorras, siis on mõistlikum osta pilet ära netist (siit). Tavaline piletijärjekord
on 40 minutit, katedraali sissepääsemise aeg on alla 30 minuti. Oleneb
Väikesed kotid/seljakotid on lubatud.
·
KÜLASTA KATEDRAALI KESET
PÄEVA
Parim aeg Duomo di
Milano külastamiseks on 12 ja 3 vahel päeval, sest siis on turiste vähem ja
hommikune sudu on linna pealt hajunud. Katedraal on avatud 8st hommikul 7ni
õhtul. Katuseterrass on avatud 9st hommikul 7ni õhtul, piletimüük suletakse 60
minutit enne sulgemist.
· VALI KÜLASTAMISEKS PÄIKESEPAISTELINE PÄEV
Yes, it’s so worth
it! Ma luban, sest vaade on imeline.
That’s it for now.
Love you guys! Päikest,
